Do I need to sign up to view a poster?
No. Scanning a QR or opening a search page is public and anonymous. You only need an account to create searches, upload photos or manage your own pets.
How much does Vuelve a Casa cost?
Nothing. Creating an account, posting a search, generating QR posters and receiving messages is free. We show ads on public pages and accept voluntary donations to cover servers.
Who can see my phone number and email?
They only appear on the public page if you choose to publish them when creating the search. If you keep them private, neighbours contact you through the moderated message wall and you decide who to reply to.
Why does my message take time to appear on the wall?
Every message goes through an automated moderation filter (text and image) before being published. The process usually takes seconds. If your message is wrongly rejected, just write us.
What happens when I find the pet?
The owner can close the search from "My searches" indicating whether the pet was found or not. The page stays visible but marked as closed, so anyone scanning the QR sees the end of the story.
Does it work in my country?
The platform is global. We adapt language, maps and poster formats to the country you pick. If yours or your language is missing, let us know.
How do I delete my account and my data?
Write to privacy@vuelveacasa.pet from your registered email and we delete your account, pets, searches and photos. Anonymous technical records (scan statistics) contain no personal data and may be kept.
Why are there ads?
To cover servers, domain and tools. Ads only appear on public pages and never before you accept cookies. If you prefer not to see them, you can reject consent or support us with a donation.
How do I avoid scams?
Be wary of anyone asking for money or a reward before showing recent proof (photo or video) of the find. We only send email from @vuelveacasa.pet.
